It is almost Christmas! Wow, where has the year gone. And in these last days before the big day, we are rushing here, running there, shopping, shopping, and even more shopping until just the right

With just a few days left until Christmas, I noticed that the property underneath my tree is pretty sparse. As I began to feel badly for my Daughter and my Husband, I realized that there were many things to be grateful
for in this house. Right now we are at 17 degrees, yet in my house it is

When trouble hits, challenges come, or I feel like hiding, I pull out my Gratitude Journal (an old moleskin, well worn and used) and begin to read my top 10 "grateful list". As I read each item

Being grateful has been a daily choice for me in the past few years, and claiming favor has become an outcropping of that choice. I have been both astounded and blessed on many occasions by the simplicity of these two practices, and at the outcomes of each of them. I have learned that they are interdependent on each other, and both,together far outweigh the effectiveness of one or the other.
