About Me:
am a single mom in Lake Oswego with a great network of family and friends. I have a photography business where I specialize in candid lifestyle family pics. Taking pictures is my passion and I am so honored to be apart of preserving memories for new families. To see my work you can go to my website, [View My Website]

I also do commissioned art portraits. These are really special to me because I get to help woman see how beautiful they really are. I devote a lot of time to creating a very unique and timeless portrait-- I like to combine whimsy with glamour and allure for the woman and magical- make- believe for the babies and kids. You can see my artistic work also at [My Artistic Work]

I have been a lifelong student of philosophy and mind-body integration. Health, wellness and the 'art of happiness' have always been at the core of who I am and what I want to share with those around me. I studied Eastern Classics at St. Johns College, where I recieved my Masters. I'm in love with my Yoga practice and I feel each day is an adventure and an opporutunity to create a poetic and meaningful existence.
If I won the lottery I would....
To take my son on world adventures and spend months at a time in Italy! We would roam around Rome, eat Pizza Napolitano in Napoli, and Vespa around the heel of the boot, Puglia. (There is city in Puglia called Otranto. It is a cross roads of culture, a meeting of east and west, and the air carries the weight of a magical history. It is located on the eastern most point of Italy's boot and is the welcoming grounds of spectacular sunrises. It is a place where even atheists are compelled to give praises of gratitude to the sacred). Our home would be a tiny flat inside the walls of an old city and from its rooftop terrace I would sip espresso in the morning and red wine at night. Lucca would become a gelato connessoir and bring back the secret of its creamy goodness to his friends at his Montessori school in Portland.

During the summer we would do things like family yoga retreats in Costa Rica, or walk the Camino in Spain. Maybe we would go to Argentina or Brazil and his momma would take Tango lessons while he learns Capoeira.

When we are in Portland we would spend long weekends with family, laughing and talking about our adventures and our joyful follies. We would cook big meals and share evenings with friends. We would take advantage of all the bike paths, the serene hikes, and the boating that Oregon has to offer.

Our lives would be a perfect balance of adventure and groundedness, laughter and prayer, meditation and sport, health and beauty, learning and doing, libations and singing, community and soul.

The 4 Success Steps & The 8 Point Plan - Part 1

A) Lets start small. How does $300 a month change your life?

Right now $300 extra a month means not dipping below the red line in my bank account. It means inching slowly but surely above the month-to-month cycle of just scrapping by and being able to put at least $100 in Lucca's college fund every month.

B) Ok, lets get a little bigger. How does an extra $3000 a month change your lif

Design your Life

What in your life do you look forward to most each day? each week?
All of us have the same 24 hours a day to work with...how do you spend yours? Is it a life by design-- where you feel you have a choice with what you do with each of those 24 hours?

I think I'm not alone in feeling that this concept of "life by design" is one of the most exhilarating aspects of working with The Balance Company. Too many people miss out on living life on purpose; the let a job they aren't in love wi… Continue

Successful WAHM and Single Parent

I am 27 years old, a single mom to a one year old little buddha named Lucca...and a successful WAHM, work-at-home-mom. Up until about 3 months ago I had no idea how I was going to create the life I wanted for my son and for myself. The process of going thru pregnancy alone was emotionally and spiritually challenging but it gave me the great opportunity to dig down deep and find the unbreakable strength and peaceful confidence that lies within.
Never being one to think direct sales was fo…

Hi Morgan,

You have a beautiful eye for photography. My youngest son is studying photography at The Art Institute in Atlanta and is looking for an internship. Perhaps you might have some advice I could pass on to him. I'll definitely share your website with him as your work is worth sharing!

Love and Light,
Jolene
